The Matthew Mohr Family wanted to make sure scholarships were available for Fargo North students. They created a permanent endowment fund that provides scholarships to graduates who want to continue their education.
We hope you will also consider making a bequest that can provide ongoing support to the teachers and students through grants or scholarships.
North Dakota state law provides tax credits for gifts contributed to a permanent endowment held by the states charitable nonprofit organizations. North Dakotan’s who contribute more than $5,000 to a qualified North Dakota endowment many be eligible for a 40% credit up to a maximum credit of $10,000 per year per taxpayer, $20,000 per year per couple filing jointly.
